my ai slop dev playbook

note: this was written on 04/16/25, some things may be outdated.

- ask chatgpt to give u ideas/draft a project
- paste any other sources (tweets, websites, etc) that is similar to what you want
- give it all the context, dont even have to be legible sentences
- have it ask you 5-10 questions for clarity + more context
(more context = detailed prompts = higher quality outputs)
- ask it to write design docs, output prompts for both frontend and backend
- take both prompts and paste it in ai tools:
    1. backend - entirely w/ replit.app or call chatgpt to do it for you (for rapid dev/bug fixes use cursor)
    2. frontend - use lovable.dev. personally it gets the design pretty well
- once satisfied, give api route context to any ai and ask it to generate DETAILED api documentation
- based on the api documentation, ask ai to connect your frontend to backend
- test everything works, you are now ready to launch

everything i listed is literally all you need to launch web/apps for FREE.
- domains
- dns
- storage/s3
- database
- servers
- payment handling

promotion (recommend to do only once u are familiar with this flow)

- tweet out literally everything about the development of the app
- your struggles, funny ai outputs, stuff you encountered throughout dev (if u think something is interesting its prob also interesting for sometone else)
- by mass tweeting you are inherently:
    1. getting engagement
    2. potential twitter monetization
    3. building a personal brand (for the future)
    4. get noticed by fellow devs/vcs (new connections NEVER hurt.)
        - once u start building a follower base, take calls ALWAYS. google meet works best, a simple chat will suffice (they know that u exist and not a bot!)

bonus: build a pipeline that checks latest meta and generates tweets for you for max larp

congratulations! you are now on track to 100k/MRR, have hella vc connections in the event you need to raise/extra funding, clout around tech space (mostly silicon valley)
